Metamorphosis Quartz by Bob Jackson This clear to opaque milky quartz has been available for several years. In review, it is the precursor for “Oro Verde” (after irradiation with 0.3 MEV gamma) utilized for spheres due to opalescence somewhat like the Girasol opal from Madagascar and more recently, shaped into cabochons to achieve possible asterism/cateye effects (about 5% of the mine runs material). The designation “Meta quartz” was originally coined because of the change due to irradiation. In one of the many ongoing discourses, agreed-on primary distinguished physical characteristic of minerals are color, hardness, density (specific gravity), fracture/cleavage, chemical composition and morphology (crystal structure). There are additional physical attributes, of varying degrees of subtlety, which occasionally attract attention depending on availability of, and accessibility to expensive instrumentation (to the person who possesses a hammer, everything appears to be nails). The ” Mobility” configuration was gifted to me by Bob Jackson in a dream on February 9th 1998 The “Mobility” configuration is established by placing a quartz sphere on the heart side palm and a quartz crystal point with termination pointing downwards in the opposite palm, then place single terminated crystal points in the pattern in the above figure, ( Mobility image) with “at least” three single terminated crystals points, with the termination’s pointed towards third eye chakra, being placed from the base chakra and stopping at the area of the heart chakra. Divide the group in half standing in two lines facing each other. Seven (7) aura garnets will be used. Each person at the ends of the lines will hold an aura garnet (4 stones) Three additional stones will be placed on the floor between the two lines of people – one at each end and one in the middle.
